Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 24 cookies
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 cups Sprouted Wheat Flour (scooped, not spooned) 1⁄2 cup butter |
Preheat oven to 375º and line your baking sheet(s) with parchment paper or other baking mat.
In a small bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
Set aside.
In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer cream together butter and sugars. Beat for 5 minutes or until smooth and light in color. Scrap down the sides with a spatula as necessary.
Add egg and vanilla and continue to cream for 2-3 more minutes, still scraping down the sides as needed.
Add flour mixture to your wet ingredients, and mix together just until combined.
Lastly, add 3/4 cup chocolate chips of your choosing.
Immediately roll dough into 1 1/2” balls and bake for 8-10 minutes until cookies are beginning to brown on the top. They won’t look done, but you’ll leave them on the tray for 5 minutes to cool and they will continue to bake. Remove to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
*Dough also freezes very well and can be baked from frozen for 1-2 extra minutes.*
