Home / Rosemary Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine:

1 1⁄4 cup Very Warm Water
1 tsp Yeast
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp Rosemary
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Himalayan Salt

2. After mixing these 6 ingredients, add:

Add 2 3⁄4 cup flour, working until well combined. Dough should hold its shape when made into a ball, but still be sticky. If the dough does not hold its shape, work in additional flour, 1⁄4 cup at a time until the dough is able to hold its shape.

3. Cover with a lid or wet towel and let rise for 20 minutes.

4. On an oiled surface, kneed dough until it has a smooth, elastic texture.

(Alternately for Steps 3 and 4, dough can instead be worked an additional 5 minutes until it is smooth, elastic, and no longer sticky. At this point, the bread is ready to be shaped.)

5. Shape into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan or on a metal tray (for artisan loaves).

6. Cover with a lightweight wet towel or oiled plastic wrap, let rise until almost doubled.

(Optional: For a crispy crust, lightly brush with olive oil just before baking.)

7. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees.

The bread is done when the bottom of the loaf is lightly browned. Remove from pan. Cool on a dry towel or wire rack.

8. Slice & Enjoy!
